Batgirl démasquée

Pendant la saison 5 de Batman 2004, en parallèle aux événements de l'épisode #62 La fin de Batman où celui-ci et Robin étaient occupés à combattre Wrath et Scorn, Batgirl a effectué une mission solo pour tenter de retrouver Poison Ivy pour lui administrer l'antidote pour la guérir de sa mutation et la faire redevenir Pam Isley sans devoir la neutraliser et l'envoyer à l'asile d'Arkham qui n'est pas un sort qu'elle souhaiterait qu'on lui inflige car elle pense qu'il lui reste un peu d'humanité qui pourrait la faire revenir à la raison.

En ayant localisé son repaire, Poison Ivy a décidé de neutraliser la justicière où malgré tout le courage de Batgirl pour éviter d'être réduite à l'impuissance par les plantes vivantes de la femme-plante, celle-ci a décidé de ne pas la tuer mais de la démasquer afin de savoir qui elle est en utilisant une méthode classique où elle fut ligotée sur une chaise et bâillonnée pour qu'elle ne puisse pas crier, quelle ne fut pas sa surprise lorsqu'elle découvrit qu'il s'agissait de sa meilleure amie Barbara Gordon et fut confronté à un immense dilemme puisqu'étant la fille du commissaire Jim Gordon, elle ne peut pas la tuer autrement elle signerait son arrêt de mort si elle venait à annoncer au père de celle-ci qu'elle l'a assassiné sans remord.

Ivy annonça qu'elle garderait le secret sur sa double identité pour qu'aucun des criminels de Gotham city soit au courant par respect et amitié pour Barbara et demanda si elle pourrait l'aider à la guérir pour redevenir humaine car elle n'en peut plus d'être traquée par Batman et Robin ainsi que la police, ce qui est possible grâce à l'antidote que Batgirl a dissimulé dans sa ceinture jaune et qui s'injecte dans l'avant-bras dont les effets mettent 5 minutes pour agir efficacement.

During The Batman of season 5, in parallel to the events of episode #62 The end of the Batman where Batman and Robin were busy fighting Wrath and Scorn, Batgirl has gone on a solo mission to try to find Poison Ivy to administer the antidote to cure her of her mutation and make her become Pam Isley again without having to neutralize her and send her to Arkham Asylum, which is not a fate she would like to see inflicted on her because she thinks she still has some humanity left that could bring her back to her senses.

Having located her lair, Poison Ivy decided to neutralize the vigilante where, despite Batgirl's courage to avoid being reduced to impotence by the living plants of the plant woman, she decided not to kill her but to unmask her in order to find out who she is by using a classic method where she was tied up on a chair and gagged so that she couldn't scream, she was surprised to discover that it was her best friend Barbara Gordon and was faced with a huge dilemma since, being the daughter of Commissioner Jim Gordon, she couldn't kill her otherwise she would sign her death warrant if she were to tell her father that she had murdered her without remorse.

Ivy announced that she would keep her double identity a secret so that none of the criminals in Gotham city would know about it out of respect and friendship for Barbara and asked if she could help him heal her to become human again because she can't stand being hunted down by Batman and Robin and the police, which is possible thanks to the antidote that Batgirl has hidden in her yellow belt and which is injected into her forearm, the effects of which take 5 minutes to take effect.
